Strictly Come Dancing viewers found themselves ‘caught out’ after a major change to the show during Saturday’s episode. BBC One made adjustments to Saturday’s TV schedule, which impacted the live show.
The dance contest was moved to an earlier time slot to accommodate the annual Festival of Remembrance, which will be broadcast at 9pm.
It meant Strictly Come Dancing began at the earlier time of 6.05pm, instead of its usual start time of 7.05pm. But not all viewers were aware of the change and were forced to ‘play catch up’ as they missed the start.
Some complained that the early start time was inconvenient.
