BBC chiefs are reported to have reprimanded Strictly Come Dancing stars Wynne Evans and Katya Jones. Over the weekend, the 52-year-old Welsh opera singer seemed to move his hand along the waist of the Russian dancer, who promptly swatted him away.The pair also appeared to share a tense moment when Katya seemed to rebuff Wynne's attempt at a high five.
After an apology and clarification that it was merely a "silly inside joke", BBC bosses are said to have spoken to the duo and given them an "informal rap over the knuckles".This comes just weeks after the corporation's investigation into the behaviour of former dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima.
An insider told The Sun: "Strictly wanted to draw a line under one of the most troubling periods in the programme's history, which had viewers deeply suspicious about what went on behind the scenes of the show."They added that such allegations had tarnished the contest somewhat and they were eager to put the latest incident behind them.
The source continued: "The rap over the knuckles from Strictly was informal and there aren't any plans to take any further action against them.
