It's hard to mention Strictly Come Dancing without that earworm of a theme tune springing into your head. But from this weekend, we'll get to hear it for real as the hit BBC One dance contest returns to screens.
The sparkly juggernaut is back, filling our Saturday nights with glitz and glam and plenty of moving and shaking from 15 celebrities - including soap actors, a legendary newsreader and a former Love Island contest and their professional partners.
The Strictly journey - and the road to Christmas (sorry!) - will officially begin when the launch show airs on Saturday, September 16 at 6.35pm on BBC One, seeing the celebrities paired with their professional partners for the first time. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be back to host the show and keep the Strictly ship running as smoothly as possible every Saturday night.
