BBC sitcom star Angela Thorne has left her £1.6million fortune including a home in London to her two sons. The actress, who was best-known for playing Marjory Frobisher in To The Manor Born from 1979 to 1981, died in June last year aged 84.
According to The Sun, probate documents revealed that her son, actor Rupert Penry-Jones, 53, was bequeathed a coastal home in Anglesey.
Rupert played Adam Carter in Spooks and DI Joseph Chandler in Whitechapel. His younger brother Lawrence, 47, inherited a flat in Lavender Hill, South London.
Acting runs in the family, with Lawrence having starred in Waking the Dead. Angela's probate documents, which have just been published, show that in total her estate was valued at £1,583,078.
