BBC Shetland fans 'work out' who killed Tosh's friend after spotting 'clue'

Shetland opened last week with a dramatic case for DI McIntosh and DI Calder to solve.The BBC show is back for a ninth series, and opened with DI Calder being held at gunpoint by a young man who had seemingly killed his own brother.

Whilst Calder (Ashley Jensen) managed to escape unharmed, a new case soon troubled DI Tosh McIntosh (Alison O'Donnell) and Calder when Tosh's friend Annie was found dead.Annie and her young son went missing, before her body was later found in a construction site which belongs to her estranged husband Ian.

She was found after her son managed to make his way to a nearby farm and the police were called.He had blood on him, but it was unsure whose blood it was.

When Annie was later found dead, it seemed obvious that she must have been killed by the prime suspect - but is that really the case?Speaking about those scenes, Alison told Radio Times: "In those moments, you stop being a copper and you just become a person.
