Fans have praised a scene from a BBC psychological romance drama for having the "best line delivery in history". There are some TV moments which stop you in your tracks, whether that's because they're side-splittingly funny or because they're heart-wrenchingly sad.
Recently, one TV fan took to X, formerly Twitter, to ask which lines were delivered so well, they've withstood the test of time.
X user @DCUDianaPrince simply tweeted: "BEST line delivery in history" which garnered a variety of responses. But there was one show in particular which had fans in agreement. (sic) A moment where Connell (Paul Mescal) is being scolded by his mum Lorraine (Sarah Greene) in BBC drama Normal People was a stand-out scene for many.
The 2020 drama is based on the 2018 Sally Rooney book of the same title. It also stars Daisy Edgar-Jones as Marianne, who is embroiled in a complicated relationship with Connell.
