BBC Radio star Alex Hall has announced she is leaving Radio Tees after a remarkable 35 years on the airwaves following her own show being cut in November last year.The 74-year-old shared the news on social media which left her listeners heartbroken as she shared a statement confirming she had been axed from returning with many fans left gutted to see the much-loved radio star go.Alex wrote: "This morning I did my last show on BBC local radio.
My regular programme ended in November, but I was asked to do some cover, which I was happy to do. Delaying the inevitable. Today I have to concede defeat.
