Ade Adepitan’s son was born in January and more than three months on the TV presenter and Paralympian still cannot stop gushing, happy to admit he is “obsessed” with his baby boy.
Lockdown gave Ade, 48, and his wife Linda Harrison, 30, precious time to be together with Bolla. Ade, host of a new BBC2 series on climate change, says: “I know if I had been working, I would hardly have seen him.
I would have missed him so much. It has been bonding time.” He admits being a wheelchair user with a newborn can present challenges – but mostly for other people, telling of one particularly “bonkers” encounter shortly after his son’s birth on January 4.
