The BBC reportedly told It Takes Two presenter Rylan to take a year off work after he appeared to breakdown on his Radio 2 show last month.
According to The Mirror, Rylan, whose marriage to husband Dan Neal recently broke down, is said to have started crying off air resulting in bosses making the offer.
Rylan's radio colleagues apparently had to think quickly and set up the next track on his Saturday show to give the 32-year-old time to compose himself, reports The Sun.A source told the publication: “Rylan’s one of the BBC’s favourite stars."When he returned to work everyone supported him but when he broke down people were concerned he’d come back too fast.“One of the BBC’s top brass was at the meeting.
