The latest Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas special has left viewers feeling a bit queasy. Jennifer Gibney's character, Cathy Brown, attempted to prepare the Christmas dinner for her family's feast while trying to maintain peace and quiet, before Danny O'Carroll's Buster Brady made a surprise appearance, attempting to woo Cathy through with a scene reminiscent of Love Actually.

However, after she didn't reciprocate his feelings, he found himself back in the kitchen alongside Mrs Brown. Still on a mission, Buster tried again hoping a mistletoe could change Cathy's mind.

While detailing the happenings of the episode Buster expressed, "Cathy a woman cannot refuse a kiss under mistletoe. Now pucker up and lay it on me." Unexpectedly, when Cathy side-stepped Buster, he ended up sharing a somewhat uncomfortable kiss with Mrs Brown, acted by his own father in real life.
