The chef opened his flagship restaurant back in 1998, putting French cuisine at the forefront of the London food scene, in the Chelsea location which previously housed the Michelin-starred La Tante Claire.
By 2001, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay had been awarded the coveted three Michelin stars - the highest accolade given by the Guide.
The site describes eateries with the full set of stars as “Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey!”. Gordon’s first solo venture was also the place where many of the country’s best chefs have made their name.
