Love Island is by far the most popular reality dating show of our time. Several other broadcasters have tried to replicate the success from Channel 4 to Netflix, but none have been able to.
Yet! BBC is hopeful that it can bring the Love Island effect to its channels, as it is believed to be making its very own dating series to rival the ITV option.
The upcoming series is called Love In The Flesh, which is set to follow pairs who met on dating apps during lockdown. Of course, they were unable to meet up before this, and this format means that their first in-person date will be televised.
Okay, we’re listening… The show will very kindly jet them off on a sunny holiday which will allow them to meet for the first time.
