BBC Gladiators viewers slam show rules that make ‘no sense’

Gladiators viewers slammed the rules of the show after a contestant had to be replaced during Saturday’s episode. Chung was forced to leave the competition during the semi final of the BBC show due to an injury he sustained in the Power Ball challenge.

The BBC series sees contestants compete against the gladiators in a series of challenges. Although they wear protective gear, they can sustain injuries.

During the Power Ball challenge Chung was tackled by Apollo, one of the gladiators, and the challenge had to be paused while he was taken off for medical treatment.
