The BBC has excitedly announced that filming for the final episode of the much-loved sitcom 'Gavin And Stacey' is underway. Created by Ruth Jones and James Corden, the show is set to make a festive return on Christmas Day.
The broadcaster teased fans with a clapperboard snapshot dated September 2, captioned with Pam's iconic exclamation: "Oh. My.
Christ." The post also read: "The final episode of Gavin & Stacey started filming today," and continued with an enthusiastic "Truth be told, we're a little bit excited." Fans are encouraged to catch up with the series on #iPlayer this Christmas Day. Corden, aged 46 and a former chat show host, hinted at the show's return on May 3 via Instagram, posting a photo with Jones holding a script for 'Gavin and Stacey: The finale', slated for 2024.
