It's set to be an emotional Christmas on Albert Square for Linda Carter, who will soon find herself at the centre of a truly heartbreaking storyline.

To recap, after nine years in Walford, Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) said his goodbyes during 2022's dramatic Christmas Day episode.

Viewers will remember the Queen Vic landlord diving into the sea to save his childhood sweetheart Linda, (Kellie Bright) after Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) drove them both off a cliff.

However, Mick didn't realise that Linda had already escaped from the submerged vehicle and had made it safely to shore. After much suspense, the show ended with Mick still missing and many fearing the worst.
