BBC EastEnders star hints at return to soap after seven years away

Sometimes it's just as impressive to nearly get a Number 1 in the UK, as the tracks that only ever peaked at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart prove.

EastEnders is set for exciting scenes as Prince Charles and Camilla will guest star in a celebratory episode to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The Prince of Wales, 73, and Duchess of Cornwall, 74, will star as themselves and join Albert Square's residents with a street party to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.The specially shot scenes were filmed back on 31 March when Prince Charles and Camilla visited the set of EastEnders to meet the cast and crew of the long running drama.

Sam Ryder’s Eurovision single Space Man has gone to number two in the charts after his surprise success at the contest last week. The singer, 32, was narrowly beaten to the top spot by Harry Styles’ As It Was, which secured its seventh week at number one.

Eurovision hero Sam Ryder brought the United Kingdom together as we dreamt of our first Eurovision win in a quarter of a century over the weekend. The 32 year old singer came out on top in the jury votes but was pipped to the crown by Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra when the public's scores were added. The Ukrainian act – who were given special permission to leave their war-torn country and perform at the contest – received 431 points from a maximum of 468 in the public vote, giving them an emotional victory in Turin, Italy, on Saturday night.
