As fans of the BBC One soap will know, the twisted accountant killed his comatose wife Debbie last year to help alleviate his financial difficulties.
Before he committed the crime, Reiss had already drained Debbie's savings to help fund IVF treatment with his new love Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).
But after a police investigation, it was Sonia who was accused of murder and has held in prison on remand ever since - all while pregnant.
