Fans will remember that Phil slept with Emma Harding last year and armed with this information, she threatened to spill his secret if he didn't give her her inheritance money.
On Wednesday night's episode of the BBC soap, she continued to pressure Phil into doing the right thing, but he remained firm and refused to give in.
