Death in Paradise favourite Ralf Little has broken his silence following his character's exit from the hit series. Viewers were left devastated when DI Neville Parker departed the island of Saint Marie in the 13th series' finale.

DI Neville decided he needed to go travelling and explore the world, prompting him to bid farewell to the Caribbean island in emotional scenes on Sunday, 24 March.

Neville got his happy ending too, as he eventually reunited with love interest Florence and they jetted off together. Actor Ralf, 44, has now broken his silence about his exit.

A video of him addressing fans was shared on the BBC's Death in Paradise Instagram account. Ralf said: "So, there you have it!
