BBC Death In Paradise fans have raised concerns about whether there will be a new series after Ralf Little's exit from the show.Ralf has become the longest running detective on the BBC drama, having starred on the show for five years as DI Neville Parker after he started a few seasons ago to replace DI Jack Mooney.

In a surprise turn of events this season, Neville has decided to go travelling in a quest to find the love of his life. However, his former love interest Florence Cassell got out of witness protection and made her way back to Saint Marie but failed to get back to see him in time, after admitting her feelings for him had grown, the Mirror reports.

With many other characters returning this series, including Danny John Jules as Officer Dwayne Myers and Tobi Bakare as JP Hooper as well as Camille Bordey making a brief return too, fans had been left concerned that this is a hint the show may end.

However, it was confirmed by the Mirror last year that Death In Paradise would be back for at least one more season as well as a Christmas special.
