In the Christmas special last month, fans were treated to the return of Dwayne Myers (portrayed by Danny John Jules) alongside his father, Nelson (played by Ram John Holder), to Saint Marie.
But as producers teased the new instalment, eagle-eyed viewers quickly realised that Dwayne was nowhere to be seen in the previews.
While many are disappointed that the beloved officer won't feature in the new episodes, there's a silver lining with the comeback of JP Hooper (played by Tobi Bakare).
