A former BBC Breakfast presenter has switched to a hugely different career after leaving the iconic red sofa 16 years ago.The ex-host now works in the nuclear energy sector, having left the spotlight behind.
BBC News journalist Ben Geoghegan used to be one of those at the helm of the early morning BBC One show. Currently, the likes of Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt are among those who lead the way on BBC Breakfast.
Ben was one of the main anchors and was a staple to early morning TV in 2008, before he decided to step away from the limelight of the TV cameras.
According to the executive's LinkedIn profile, Ben is now the director of communications for Sizewell C in Somerset, reports The Mirror.
