Bargain Hunt's expert Kate Bliss faced a backlash after she told a contestant to 'put an antique down' during the most recent Bank Holiday special on Monday, 14 May.
The episode, filmed in two Somerset locations with Shepton Mallet and Wells Cathedral as backdrops, featured Charlie Ross on hosting duties.
He was accompanied by Colin Young playing for team Reds while Kate worked with the Blues. However, viewers started questioning whether there was any actual need for contestants on the blue team as Kate took charge.
Kate, accompanying neighbours Lyn and Surabhi for the antique hunt, seemed more eager to show her charges what to buy rather than appreciate their own finds.
