BAFTA Awards viewers were quick to criticise host Rebel Wilson over her 'awkward' jokes on Sunday night (March 13). The Australian actress took over from Ricky Gervais to host the huge event and was immediately met with a backlash from some viewers.

As she opened the BBC awards ceremony, she referred to her weight loss and quipped: "I might look a bit different from the last time you guys saw me here.

Viewers were not impressed, and took to Twitter to comment on how they wished Ricky was still hosting.
