Tonight is set to be a special night for one rugby league family, as two brothers go head-to-head on a rugby field for the first time.

Batchelor brothers Joe and James have both been named in the matchday squads for tonight's clash between St Helens and Wakefield Trinity, their first-ever meeting on the pitch.

And to make the occasion even more special, the boys' mum, Wendy, is celebrating her 50th birthday today! The remarkable coincidence will no doubt add a bit of extra spice, though one would suspect Mrs Batchelor will be sick at the sight of her two boys fighting but will now have to watch it play out in a public space.
