Barry McGuigan has courageously opened up about the death of his daughter for the first time after she passed away from cancer in 2019.
In a heartbreaking interview on the Late Late Show, the former featherweight world champion revealed the devastation he and his family feel everyday.
McGuigan's daughter Danika died of cancer at the age of 33 in 2019. The Irishman discussed Danika's health struggles as a child as she battled Leukemia when she was 11, and broke down in tears as he recalled the moment he learnt she was suffering from tumours in her liver and intestine.
He told Ryan Tubridy: "I know there are loads of parents who have lost their children and I know how devastating that is, how hard it is.
