Barry McGuigan has been very open about his grief at the death of his daughter Danika, who tragically died two years ago in July 2019 due to cancer aged just 33.
Before her death, Danika, nicknamed Nika, had starred in the award-winning film Wildfire, and Barry got to watch an outdoor screening of the film in his hometown of Clones.
The film was shown in none other than Barry McGuigan park in Co Monaghan, and during an appearance on Claire Byrne Live, the former boxer revealed how proud he was of his daughter.
