Bargain Hunt favourite Thomas Forrester was admitted to hospital after he experienced a health scare when his hands began to tingle, initially clueless about his condition. The television personality, who loves to stay active by fencing regularly, found out he had encountered a trapped nerve.

A swift visit to the doctor confirmed the cause of his excruciating pain.Thomas disclosed to The Sun: "The thing is I'm a fencer.

I fence three times a week and I'm going to continue fencing." After medical intervention freed the nerve and some much-needed massage therapy, Thomas is optimistic that his condition will improve soon, saying: "They have released it [the trapped nerve] and massaged it and hopefully within a week it will sort of stop," but noted he'll likely need "more treatment" for his associated tennis elbow problem.

In true sportsman spirit, the TV expert continued to tell the publication he doesn't intend to quit exercising despite his challenges: "It's a constant battle we're told to exercise, we're sort of told to keep better and all of that but with the exercise comes the moans, the nibbles, the grunts, the this and all of that." Thomas is determined to keep up with his recovery process, ensuring he gets regular massages to expedite his return to full fitness.
