A BARGAIN Hunt contestant was slapped with a stern warning after they found out their vase was worth £700k. The BBC show see two teams take on the challenge to get the best bargains for antiques and attempt to sell them at an auction for higher prices.
However, one auctioneer was forced to warn their client after a precious vase after finding out the true value of it. Charles Hanson has revealed he came across the vase and initially thought it would sell for £50,000.
But he was left stunned when it fetched £700k. “It was Aunt Beryl’s vase, which was given to our client in 1976," he explained.
