The basic storyline revolves around a road trip that includes Malibu Barbie and Brooklyn Barbie as well as the doll's sister Skipper and boyfriend Ken.
News of the multiyear partnership comes as a live action Barbie movie - not affiliated with Netflix - is in the works starring Margot Robbie in the title role.
