Barbara Windsor's husband Scott Mitchell has opened up about his grief for the first time after she tragically died last week.
The former EastEnders star passed away at the age of 83 after her battle with Alzheimer's. Scott made his first public appearance since her death tonight at Good Morning Britain's 1 Million Minutes Awards.
As he presented an award named in Barbara's honour to palliative carer Nassrat Bi, Scott said he still can't believe that Barbara isn't here anymore.
He said: "I can't believe only a week ago she was still here and now she's not. "There's the circle of life. I don't think I can still believe it to be honest with you. "I want to tell you one other thing about your story, which gave me the courage today to do this
