Dame Barbara Windsor's husband Scott Mitchell has made his first public appearance since her tragic death. Scott appeared at Good Morning Britain's 1 Million Minutes Awards to present an award named in Barbara's honour to a carer.
The EastEnders legend died last week at the age of 83 after battling Alzheimer's. During the appearance, he became emotional as he spoke about the last days of Barbara's life.
Presenting carer Nassrat Bi with the Dame Barbara Windsor Award, Scott, who was on the judging panel, called the support of carers in Barbara's final days a huge "relief" and thanked them for the work they do.
