Samuel L. Jackson made headlines this week after he claimed he had been banned from Saturday Night Live after his last appearance in December of 2012.

During that December 2012 episode, which was hosted by Martin Short. Samuel made a cameo and played himself in “What’s Up with That?,” a recurring sketch where Kenan Thompson‘s talk show host character interrupts his guests when they’re speaking. Kenan was supposed to interrupt Samuel as he was saying a curse word, but instead, didn’t cut him off in time resulting in the “F” bomb being aired on live TV.
