Coronation Street favourite Bill Roache reportedly has "no choice" but to continue to work on the ITV soap, despite being 91 years old, following claims he's facing bankruptcy.
Actor Bill has portrayed Ken Barlow on Corrie since the soap began airing in 1960, making him the longest-serving soap star in the world.
He reportedly takes home £250,000 per year for his role, making him one of the highest paid actors on Coronation Street. Despite his fortune, Bill has reportedly been forced to file for bankruptcy due to his current financial situation, after HMRC filed a petition against the soap actor.
Bill is believed to have no plans to leave Coronation Street, having previously said he'd like to still be working there when turns 100, but if he did, he's allegedly told pals that he "doesn't exactly have much choice now" due to the HMRC drama.
