More tributes have been shared after it was announced that Imelda Mounfield, the wife of Stone Roses’ bassist Mani, died at the age of 52 - including a heartfelt performance from one of the band's tribute acts.
The events agent’s death was announced on Saturday (November 18), with Ian Brown and Rowetta amongst those leading the tributes.
Happy Mondays singer Rowetta said: “So beautiful, so brave, so LOVED. We’re all going to miss you.” Stone Roses frontman Ian said: “RIP @imeldamounfield.
GOD BLESS MANI and his boys X”. Her death came just three years after Imelda was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. She is survived by husband Mani, 61, and their twin boys, both aged ten.
