A gang of four thugs allegedly entered a Leigh home with a machete and assaulted the occupants in a 'traumatic' incident. Greater Manchester Police is investigating an aggravated burglary in the early hours of Friday morning (June 24) on Glover Street.
Following initial enquiries, police say four offenders wearing balaclavas entered the property before threatening and assaulting the occupants.
One of the group was carrying a machete at the time of the incident, GMP says. The group then left the property empty handed in the direction of Tamar Grove and Nel Pen Lane.
