A popular Manchester bakery has announced big plans to open a second location. Companio Bakery has become a much-loved addition to Manchester's thriving, artisanal baking scene, and has now confirmed it will open a larger cafe space this summer.
Updating their followers on social media, the Radium Street bakery, which sells a range of breads, viennoiserie and sweet bakes said they were 'thrilled' to to be expanding into the Northern Quarter.
They explained that while the first site will remain open, the new spot will be bigger and feature an indoor seating area. The tiny bakery first opened in 2019, and has grown from a team of 2 to 11 in just a few years.
