Bake Off winner sets TWO new records as viewers left in tears by ending

evoke.ieWe don’t know what we’re going to be doing on Tuesday nights now as The Great British Bake Off has come to an end. It was a tense final that saw Dave, Peter and Laura put through their baking paces one last time, before the viewers were left in a very emotional state by the thoughtful ending.
Laura struggled throughout the final and it was a neck-and-neck race to victory for Dave and Peter. Even the judges admitted it had never been closer to a tie and it all came down to slices of pastry in a custard slice.
In the end it was self proclaimed ‘Bake Off nerd’ Peter who emerged victorious to the delight of viewers at home. Peter’s win has also put him in the Bake Off history books as he has become the youngest winner ever!
