Great British Bake Off star Rebs has revealed why some of the contestants are seen shaking on the show. Viewers reckoned the bakers must have been nervous, but the student, 23, explained that wasn't the only reason.
Taking to Instagram to answer a fan who wanted to know what was going on in the show, Rebs said: "When you see us shaking it's only 60% nerves - the rest is shivering. " The TV star, who left the show in week four after missing an episode due to illness, also admitted she dealt with "crippling anxiety" before filming started.
She explained: "Just the amount of work you have to put in when you get selected. "Like creating loads of recipes and hitting loads of deadlines for recipes and then practicing, practicing, practicing. "It’s quite a lot for three months and that’s all you can do and try to live your life. "Rebs continued: "Any time I make stuff for people now I get such anxiety that they’re going to judge me and be like, 'no this isn’t right,' but everyone has been so nice. "Concluding it was "hands down the best experience of my life so far", the baker added the contestants got along so well that she had made "11 best friends for life".
Rebs was recently forced to deny she and contestant Sandro were more than friends after they shared a series of pictures together on Twitter.
