Bad Sisters star Anne-Marie Duff has boarded BBC thriller Reunion about a deaf man determined to right his wrongs while unravelling the truth behind the events that led him to prison.
The BAFTA-winner will play Christine opposite lead Matthew Gurney (Name Me Lawand), Eddie Marsan, Lara Peake (How to Have Sex) and Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis, the latter of whom has landed a number of roles of late.
Penned by up-and-coming deaf creative William Mager, the four-part series has started filming in and around Sheffield in northern England this week.
It promises to be a milestone in inclusive storytelling, with the majority of the cast being deaf or using British Sign Language.
