The spy flick knocked Secret Life of Pets 2 from the top spot on the English films list, but both that animated film and its predecessor rounded out the top three.
According to Netflix, Back in Action had the biggest premiere weekend for an English-language movie since The Adam Project. Speaking of, that sci-fi thriller, which was previously No.
3 on the English most popular films list, has been overtaken by another Netflix hit, Carry-On. The airport thriller is still flying high after six weeks with another 3.6M views.
