‘Baby Reindeer’ Takes Over Netflix As Viewership For Richard Gadd’s Stalker Series Grows
deadline.comBaby Reindeer has taken over Netflix. Richard Gadd’s breakout stalker series was already No. 1 on the streamer’s English-language TV list and, not only did it retain that title for the second week in a row, its viewership shot up to 22M views from April 22 to April 28.
The series, which is loosely based on Gadd’s own experience with a stalker, was easily the most-watched title of the week. It was also leagues above the No.
2 series for this week, which was Dead Boy Detectives. That series, adapted from Neil Gaiman’s comics, drew 3.1M views after debuting over the weekend.
Elsewhere on the TV list, The Gentlemen and 3 Body Problem are still going strong with 2.3M and 2.2M views, respectively. Both are still quite a ways away from Netflix’s most popular list.
