Baby born on motorway as mum goes into labour while driving her car

fire brigade crew delivered a newborn baby on a busy motorway after a mum called 999. Emergency services were notified when the mother realised she was in labour whilst driving her car.

The quick-thinking fire brigade crew raced to the scene on a busy road before helping the newborn. The Dublin Fire Brigade played a heroic role on Wednesday afternoon after being called to the M1 northbound, a report in Dublin Live revealed.The mother and her newly born child were very quickly transported to hospital to be checked by medical staff.
