B&M shopper gets £70 haul for just £3 using little-known scanner hack

A mum has been left gobsmacked after saving £67 while shopping at B&M - picking up a £70 shopping haul for just £3.The bargain shopping chain is known for its affordable prices on homeware, furniture and snacks.

And thanks to a little-known feature on the store's app, one woman managed to bag the ultimate bargain when picking up a couple of rugs for her home.Danielle Harper bought three of the rugs after coming across the hidden scanner on the app, and she was eager to share her discovery with other people on social media.Manchester Evening News reports that she posted a photo of her haul on a bargain-sharing Facebook group, saying: "Finally found a Bargain at B&M by using the scanner in the App!

Each rug - £1 each!!"Other shoppers were keen to find out how she'd managed to score the rugs for such a low price, and Danielle was happy to explain.

She said that the scanner, which is found at the bottom of the screen when you launch the app, lets you scan the barcode of any item in store to see if the price has been reduced.
