A kind Irvine schoolgirl has used her creative skills to raise money for the foodbank during lockdown.Summer Henderson, 11, who is helped in her endeavours by sister Lucie, 8, has already raised over £100 for North Ayrshire Foodbank through selling bracelets and painted logs.Mum Gail, who is a primary school teacher, said she couldn’t be more proud of her girls.Said Gail: “Summer and Lucie are both pupils at Annick Primary and have been coping quite well with lockdown.“Summer is very creative and has made a dinosaur display in our window and she changes something on it every day.“We were talking one night at dinner, trying to come up with ideas of how she could help, and we said to her that some families couldn’t even afford to pay for
