A Scots whisky firm has announced plans to build a giant storage warehouse at its base in Girvan.Ayrshire Live can reveal that William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd is seeking permission to build the storage facility at its sprawling plant at the Grangestone Industrial Estate.The company distils, bottles and distributes some of the world’s leading brands of Scotch Whisky.
Some of those include the world’s most-awarded single malt Glenfiddich, The Balvenie range of handcrafted single malts, and the world’s third largest blended Scotch, Grant’s, as well as other iconic spirits brands such as Hendrick’s Gin, Sailor Jerry, Tullamore D.E.W.
