An Asda Ayr hero has been praised for coming to the aid of a distressed autistic child who had lost a beloved Pudsey Bear lanyard.Employee Mandy Mills – who was on annual leave at the time – leapt into action in sourcing a new lanyard for the child featuring the Children In Need favourite.Dalmilling Primary School contacted the store to say one of their pupils with additional support needs had lost his and was very stressed.Asda community champion Karen Fulton reached out to her colleagues to see if they could help as the lanyard was no longer available in-store.Being off on holiday didn’t stop Mandy helping others as she placed an SOS message on Facebook, reaching out to her community for assistance – and within the hour she had sourced a
