Aymeric Laporte has joked that he is glad he won't be facing Erling Haaland after Manchester City announced a deal for the Borussia Dortmund striker.
City say they have agreed for the transfer of Haaland to go through on July 1, subject to the finalising of personal terms. Dortmund have confirmed the move from their end, and it's believed the fee is just £51million, lower than his release clause was originally thought to be.
The news delighted City fans, who can't wait to see the prolific striker play for their side next season, and it seemingly has gone down well in the dressing room if Laporte's Tweet is anything to go by.
