Axed Hollyoaks star lands job on Soap rival Coronation Street
ok.co.ukA former Hollyoaks star has landed a new role on Coronation Street, according to reports. Actor Jacob Reports is said to be joining the cast of the ITV soap in an undisclosed role.
Jacob, 33, previously starred in E4 soap Hollyoaks as Damon Kinsella from 2017 until 2023. His character suddenly departed the show last year, alongside Zara Morgan, played by Kelly Condron.
He's since appeared in the film Cara as Paul Ashton, which was released last year. He's now said to have been cast in a new role on ITV's Corrie, but specific details of his character are being kept under wraps by show bosses.
It's said that Jacob's character will be crossing paths with missing teen Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) as well as police officers Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) and DS Lisa Swan (Vicky Myers).
