Avatar: The Last Airbender viewers are divided after Netflix released a live-action remake of the iconic animated series. First airing on Nickelodeon in 2005, the show became a firm favourite among anime fans - and to this day has a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score of 100 percent.
An M. Night Shyamalan film adaptation was released in 2010, which did not prove so popular, earning a rather sad five percent score from Rotten Tomatoes critics.
Understandably, fans were a little anxious when streaming giant Netflix announced its own version of Avatar in 2018. But, debuting on Thursday (February 22), the eight-part series is currently sat at number two on the streamer's UK TV charts, behind cyber-stalker documentary Can I Tell You A Secret?
Avatar: The Last Airbender stars Gordon Cormier as Aang, a fearless 12-year-old who also happens to be the keeper of the world’s balance and peace. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
